In Germany, legal advice is principally provided by licensed lawyers. They perform their duty based on the laws governing their profession as an independent organ of the administration of justice. For specific legal actions, German law also requires the engagement of a notary (e.g. for real estate purchases or sales). The Hessian Ministry of Justice is not entitled to provide legal advice.
In the event that you require legal advice, e.g. in connection with a criminal offence, or if you have questions with regard to the defense and enforcement of civil law claims, please contact a lawyer for advice.
In Hessen there are two bar associations, the Frankfurt/Main Bar Association and the Kassel Bar Association. They will be glad to assist you in finding suitable legal assistance for your particular case.
